The Animikie Group: Gunflint - Rove Formations

We recently visited Thunder Bay, Ontario, where we explored the iconic 1.9 Ga stromatolites of the Gunflint Formation while conducting fieldwork on the younger Rove Formation. Many thanks to Sanaa Mughal, Daniela Gutierrez Rueda, Prof. Zhiquan Li, Prof. Philip Fralick, and Justin Jonsson for this opportunity.
